The Importance of Salah in a Believer's Life
Salah is the second pillar of Islam and the first act a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgement is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound." (At-Tirmidhi)
A daily connection with Allah
Five times a day the believer stands before their Lord, pausing the affairs of the world to remember the One who created them. This rhythm anchors the heart and reminds us of our purpose.
"Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing." — Surah Al-Ankabut 29:45
Practical steps to protect your Salah
- Guard the times — pray at the earliest opportunity.
- Learn the meanings of what you recite so the heart is present.
- Pray in congregation whenever possible.
- Follow each prayer with the Sunnah adhkar.
May Allah make us among those who establish the prayer and are constant upon it.
