Allah opens the chapter of revelation with the command: "Read!" The very first word of the Quran honours learning. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise." (Muslim)

The most valuable knowledge is that which draws us closer to Allah and improves our worship and character. Beneficial knowledge continues to reward its seeker even after death.

"Allah raises those who have believed among you, and those given knowledge, by degrees." — Surah Al-Mujadila 58:11

Begin where you are

  • Correct your recitation of the Quran.
  • Learn the fiqh of what you practise daily — purification and prayer.
  • Sit with people of knowledge and good company.
  • Act upon what you learn; knowledge is a trust.

Every small, consistent step on this path is beloved to Allah.
