🌅 Morning & Evening
From Hisn al-Muslim — the Fortress of the Muslim
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-qayyūm, lā ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm
Allah! There is no deity but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him (Ayat al-Kursi — recited morning and evening for protection).
📖 Al-Baqarah 2:255 · Al-Hakim
Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
We have reached the morning and at this time all sovereignty belongs to Allah. Praise is to Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, without partner. (Say 'Amsaynā' in the evening.)
📖 Muslim 4/2088
Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūt, wa ilaykan-nushūr
O Allah, by You we enter the morning and evening, by You we live and die, and to You is the resurrection.
📖 At-Tirmidhi 5/466
Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa ana ʿabduk
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep Your covenant as much as I can. (Sayyid al-Istighfar — the master supplication of forgiveness.)
📖 Al-Bukhari 7/150
Bismillāhil-ladhī lā yaḍurru maʿasmihi shay’un fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samā’, wa huwas-samīʿul-ʿalīm
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Three times — no sudden affliction will harm you.)
📖 Abu Dawud · At-Tirmidhi
Raḍītu billāhi rabbā, wa bil-islāmi dīnā, wa bi-Muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyā
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet. (Three times.)
📖 Ahmad · At-Tirmidhi
